Welcome to the MAOS S.A.S. website (hereinafter, "the Clinic"). By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read this document carefully before starting any medical or dental treatment with us.

1. Nature of Services

MAOS S.A.S. provides dental services in Medellín and Bucaramanga, Colombia. Information shared by video call, photographs, or X-rays allows only an initial orientation and does not replace a clinical examination. Diagnosis, suitability, the final plan, materials, duration, and cost are confirmed through professional assessment and provided in writing before treatment begins.

2. Obligation of Means, Not Results

Dental treatment depends on diagnosis, biological response, medical history, and adherence to instructions. MAOS S.A.S. does not promise an exact or infallible result. Before a procedure is authorized, the professional will explain the alternatives, expected benefits, relevant risks, and follow-up applicable to the case.

3. Patient participation and duties

To protect their health and support appropriate care, the patient must:

• Provide truthful, complete, and updated medical information in the Medical History, including allergies, pre-existing diseases, and medications in use.
• Strictly follow all post-operative medical indications provided by the specialist (e.g., soft diets, oral hygiene, taking medications, abstaining from tobacco).
• Attend scheduled follow-up check-ups (in-person or virtual).

Each party's responsibility will be determined according to the circumstances and applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable patient or consumer rights.

4. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations

When a service requires a deposit, the patient will receive a written estimate before payment stating the purpose, beneficiary, included services, validity, cancellation conditions, and refund procedure. Do not pay accounts or links that have not been confirmed through an official MAOS S.A.S. channel. Airline, hotel, and other third-party services are also governed by their providers' terms.

5. Informed Consent

Before starting any clinical procedure, the patient must physically sign the Informed Consent (Law 23 of 1981), where the risks and benefits of their specific treatment will be explained in detail.

6. Applicable law and consumer rights

Services provided in Colombia are governed by applicable Colombian law. These terms do not exclude any rights, remedies, or competent authorities that the law provides to the patient or consumer.
